Sun burn can be brutal when I was a kid, me and ronnie jordan went down to comstock for a load of apache strip stone, when we started to hand load the rock I took off my shirt, did not think to much about it but forgot I had taken off my shirt, me and ronnie had tickets to the rodeo in Del Rio that night, I knew a girl that was in the grand entry, anyway we went to the hotel that night and my back was bleeding was burned so bad that water was running down my spine, man I aint never hurt so bad in my life. needless to say I stay in the room that night and ronnie got the girl, now that really hurt.

I think I’ll go wading at the Brea Tar pits, or river raft the outfall sewage line at the Dallas wastewater treatment plant. You know something different, maybe even swim with the jelly fish down at Galveston. All these thing seem more fun than the vacations in my past.
