Sounds like quite a few crews are taking offf. And I mean off, leaving friday and not back til tuesday. I was talking with a inspector of XTO and he said all the pipe crews will be long gone friday. This means saturday nite some frac crew will need 300 loads now. And we’ll be stuck pumping water all weekend. I love the money but their timing is horrible. Well I wish everyone a great holiday, make sure to buy a extra steak, you never know how may stop by.

Well I talked to mike last night and Karen has bought out his share of the restaurant. Their diveorce is not yet final. They have owned it for 15 years. Mike said his getting the heck out of dodge. I will say this the place is more fun now that karen has taken on the single life style. They tell me that somebody told a fart joke the other day and she diden’t ask them to leave.

Back in the 60’s Hood,Johnson,Somervell and Erath counties went threw a oilfield boom. My father had a contract with Sun Oil of Dallas to build 90 locations. This does not include the other action in the area. We had monies to burn, and that’s exzactly what he did. New Pickups, diamonds rings, 2wk drunk binges. He diden’t save one penny.
