Underwood Line (Heavy Equipment)

Posted by Oil Field Trash on April 13th, 2007

Come by my Rental Yard @ Rainbow 1 mile west of Brazos rive and see my new line of equipment. I Have XCMG custom build these machines. I pick out the drive train, engine, hydraulic system, tire size, color you name it. I have Excavators, Wheel loaders, Motorgraders and Rollers. I have been operating equipment since 9yr’s old. My dad had a 17a D7, cable dozer. Show me a lever and I’ll pull it.

Mine ran a D8 with a cable for the blade
in the 60′s. I was a kid on it with him
and fell asleep. Almost fell off of it
    but he caught me.

That D8 cleared a lot of land. One guy who
ran it go stung by a bees nest (no cab back
then). Up to me to keep it full of diesel and
burn the wood piles. Got to wash it off, tighten
    bolts, and run for parts.

I ran a 1949 road grader in my teens. It had
a separate engine to turn over the diesel motor. Iron steering wheel tore up my hands and it took
two acres to turn it around. It was a heavy machine too. Great memories!
