I spoke with Jerry today,his company Con-Fab is doing some roughneck fence repair at my Goatneck Barnett Shale Support Center or (GBSSC). I’ll go out there midweek and marvel at his fenceing expertise. He sounded upbeat and seems to have plenty of work.

Well I coughed up the bucks to put a set of showers in at the Diner. They have been a big (splash), I know it’s corny but wha the heck. Anyway the drivers that spend days away from home fracing wells really like a fresh shower, they eat, sleep and work in their trucks.

Three day auction starts wednesday the 9th selling all types of heavy equipment. They will have open bar at the Hilton Garden starting @ 6;30 free food and drink. Also good place to meet other buyers and sellers. I have a few machine in this sell lets hope the markets stay up.

A drunk throwup on his new shirt his wife got him for his birthday, He told his buddy “my wife is going to kill me for this” his friend says ” pull twenty bucks out of your billfold, put it in your front pocket, when you get home show your wife the shirt then pull out the twenty and tell her a guy bumped into you and threwup on your shirt, and then gave you twenty bucks to get your shirt cleaned” Boy thats a great idea. So the drunk goes home, his wife greets him. He says “look what happened honey, and the guy gave me twenty bucks to get it cleaned. He pulls out the bill, she says that is a Fifty!!! oh yea says the drunk ,the same guy craped in my pants too.

Well the sun came out and so did everyboby else. We are selling water, top soil, base and select I have 3 different pits and we are loading out of all 3 at the sametime.

Early one morning a Pipeline Project Mananger visited his job site. He noticed a Rig Welder’s Truck Parked under a tree on the edge of the right of way. He stopped and awoke the welder, Why are you sleeping out here? The welder said because of the PerDiem, the project manager said “What the hell we just increased it from 75.00 aday to 124.00 perday”. Yea said the Rig Welder”Do you think im going to sleep in my truck for 75.00.”

Start walking towards Glen Rose on US67 and I promise you’ll have a job before you reach the lake. When asked why you are walking? Tell themyou just told your boss to kiss your ass and you needed the time to cool off.

My sources tell me that a unnamed buyer has purchased the Hotel. The hotel build by Stan Farbaugh of Dallas was the first to bring quality rooms to Glen Rose. He built before Barnett Shale became a house hold name. It’s my understand that The selling price exceeded even Stans idea of a good price.
