Posted by Oil Field Trash on 30th April 2006

Looks like they are just about ready to turn traffic to the new bridge. I think they they are to put one more 2in layer of asphalt on the entire new road they built then they will stripe it Then they will begin restoration of the old bridge. My understandings is a complete sand blasting, new concrete road bed and paint job.

Matthews Get His Rig

Posted by Oil Field Trash on 20th April 2006

Majestic has arrived. To see the rig go to 67 and fm200. I didn’t get a good look but it looked like a single. This is a great rig for this type well Saltwater disposal. Basically when a well make gas it also produces saltwater(after all it was a ocean) so saltwater comes up and now Matthews and Tim White are going to put it back where it came from. Of course for a price. Some say they can get 75cents per bbl. A good well can take 15000 bbl’s per day app 11000 per day plus truckin. sounds good to me. I hope they make a fortune maybe we will get a crum.

Posted by Oil Field Trash on 9th April 2006

Just east of Star Ranch on us67 (10 miles w of cleburne) is a compressor station know as Old Ocean. The pipeline starts there and heads southeast to Teague Tx. It is already been contracted out and work will begin soon. This pipeline will multiply many times the amount of gas now been sold. This will increase drilling and production. The company having the line put in is Energy Transfer out of Dallas, plans are for the line to handle 700 million cfpd. Stock tickers are EPT & ETE.

What a Day!!!

Posted by Oil Field Trash on 2nd April 2006

We loaded up the margarita machine and 15 cases of beer and headed to the Oilfield Apprecation Day @ Cudes cleburne yard got there at 11:00 and got set up. It was incredible we served over 20 gals of margarita all the beer and 2 gallons of crown royal. We got to meet some big wigs from Orbit Drilling , JM Operating, Chief, Bell supply EOG, ect. Also passed out plenty of maps to our Glen Rose Frac Pit. (Shale is loading there today). (they are part of Bell supply). The wind was blowing really hard ,we had to tie our tent down with sand bags, I got a severe wind burn face, but it was worth it. Next time I will bring way more Mix.
