I stopped by the Patterson Rig, they are going back to Georges Creek Ranch and drill one there. No one would say much on how the well looks. But the Frac and Flowback boys will tell the tale. I will keep a ear to the ground. They did say that 30 wells are planned for Rough Creek. Of course how this one turns out will effect Quicksilvers go or whoa mode. Things have really slowed down. Everybody thinks things will pickup after the first but thay say that every year.

A tear fell from my eye monday as I watched football and realized I had to return to work tuesday( long weekend from Christmas) So I hear the monday night game is moving to monday night. Well a Gas company has finally stuck their neck out. I just learned that Quicksilver Resources has pulled a permit to Drill a gas well @ Chalk Mountain (Gunn Mountain aka Roughcreek Lodge). This well is just on the county line with Erath, but thats fine it is still in Somervell county. This permit is for vertical well, but can be ammended to horizional if they find our little friend Mr. Barnett. This well is less than 3mi from my ranch. My ranch is on US67 and easy to find it has a Gaint Sign that says DRILL HERE ! by the way I still haven’t signed a lease with anyone. Quick Silver’s stock ticker is KWK.

A company man goes to the doctor about his bad breath. The doctor runs several test and tell the company man to call back in the morning for the results. The next morning he call and asked the doctors about the test. The doctor tell him he has 2 choices to cure his breath problem. He can either quit biting his nails or pickin his butt.
