Well the World Famous Somervell County Moonshine Festival is upon us. Saturday the 8th is the big day. If I remember correctly we didn’t talk to much about makin moonshine in the old days, and now they have a Festival to celebrate it. I wish LaGrange would have a Chicken Ranch Festival. Now that would be my kind of Festival. I can see it now Little Cat houses set up down town passing out free samples. How about Mingus Festival they would hand out Ass Woopens to out of towners. I know a good one how about the West Festival they could give out free Kolaches, I would go thru there on my way to LaGrange. See you Saturday in beautiful downtown Glen Rose.

A son goes to his father and asked if he can uses the car for the up and coming senior prom. The dad says he can providing he would bring up his grades, keep the yard mowed and get a hair cut. The son agreed and several weeks went by. Finally it’s prom day and the son asked his dad for the keys. The dad says you have been good, your grades are up the yard is well tended but the hair was never cut so no keys. The son say’s Jesus had long hair, so did Samson and Moses. The dad said “If you’ll remember they walked every where they went.”
