I went out to see my buddy Dickie Pate (Company man for Quicksilver) on the Gibbs Lease in Hood Co. and I was amazed how much they have gotten done. The Gas Processing Plant is coming along nicely. Looks like Patterson has at least 3 Rig running full time. They have a good saltwater disposal well, and are tying completed well into it. Pumpco has pipe going in every direction. I saw loads of Halliburton Trucks . This work is mostly on the Lattimore Materials surface lease property. Dickie said they work around the on going surface mining. All of this going on less that 7 miles for my Somervell Co headquaters. This is a good thing.

A fellow Oilfield Trashman Died at his home in Mildred Tx. I went down there and talked with his girlfriend and this is what happened. He had real trouble with his sinus, he was taking some antibiotics for a mean nasal infection. The pills make him sick enough to threw up. Hard enough to pull a back musle (he thought) turns out it most likley was a heart attack. He refused to go to doctors . One of his men went over there at 3:30 pm and found him passed out in his bed. The ambulance boys did what they could, but he was gone. Rusty has a dozen or so producing wells mostly around Corsicana and Rising Star. We have known each other for over 40 years. Everyone Drillings in the Barnett shale has the same problem. No Yards to buy or rent. The ideal yard would have a good size shop, plenty of parking and a office of some type, could be trailer house or office trailer, best of all a free standing building not connected to the shop. If a guy had one of these in Godley that would be a good thing. I know of a few places out my way in Glen Rose. Most think that is to far west.
