You know you get a little green in your pocket, and every SOB in 5 counties has his hand out. A buddy of mine got his first of what he hopes to be many gas lease checks and before it cleared the bank the County Apparisal District send him a defcon 4 threat, charging him with, a five year rollback plus penalties and interest. Plus they waited til after the 15th so he couldn’t contest the dame thing. Just another day in the energy bussiness.

What scumsuckers , we know, our taxes went from 300 dollars a year to $7000 a year because we lost our ag exemption and they say it will be five years before we can reapply, we even had a Texas parks and wildlife biologist come out and make recommendations so we could get the wildlife exemption and they still turned us down The guy at Erath co appraisal said and i quote ” you wont have any problem paying those taxes when they drill a well on your place”, Scumsucker
