BEWARE!
As a long-time oil and gas geologist and operator, I can tell you that the Barnett Shale may turn into a nasty boondoggle. I have worked and drilled in a bunch of booms, and this is starting to sound like another one. Devon’s got the wheat, but there’s a lot of chaff being drilled.
Of course, I’m personally enjoying the $50 oil myself. Until I have to fill up.
